11月19日讯 今晚进行的18强赛C组第6轮比赛，日本队客场3-1击败中国队。赛后，日本队主帅森保一将胜利归功于全队的努力。
森保一表示：“站在球场上的队员，坐在替补席上的队员，很遗憾没能进入比赛名单的队员，包括工作人员在内，球队全体人员都做好了自己能做的准备，我认为是大家团结在一起取得了胜利。”
对于本场相较于上场对阵印尼时首发的大幅度调整，森保一解释说：“每一场比赛都是非常高强度的，在印尼的时候，气候条件非常恶劣。我们拥有年轻又优秀的队员，为了以球队的综合实力取胜，我们本场比赛更换了一些首发队员。”
另外，森保一还对来到客场的球迷表示了感谢，“在这个体育场，在这样一场客场比赛中，因为我们在一起战斗，所以最终获得了胜利。希望今后我们继续一起共同战斗。”
